Mike Lalonde, owner of Lalonde Custom Plastics, spends much of his time in
an airplane. But he is not flying, he is working on the interior of the
plane and applying everything he has learned in life to get the job done.
Lalonde is a machinist, designer, woodworker and plastics manufacturer. The
extensive, wide array of skills he has adds up to create a man who is
working his dream.
"I am doing something I have always wanted to do," says Lalonde. "It is a
dream come true."
Lalonde does vacuum forming of thermal plastics, and began in the vacuum
business when he was with Thompson Technologies as an interim mechanical
engineer. The company brought in a vacuum machine and asked Lalonde to
operate it.

Mike Lalonde is an active member of the Canadian Navy. Decorated six
times since he began in February 1986, he has served Canada in war,
peace-keeping, national security, crisis and salvage operations, and in many
NATO missions. While it has been both a challenging and rewarding career, it
has not come without some emotional 'baggage' to cope with.
The answer to effectively coping with such 'baggage' came unexpectedly
after an incredibly successful first experience with hypnosis to stop
smoking (NO CRAVINGS, NO WITHDRAWLS!). Mike began an intensive study of the
benefits of hypnosis to other areas of his life. He has found that
practicing self hypnosis on a regular basis has not only allowed mental
cleansing but has also enabled him to attain and surpass his goals.
